Upon arrival in Tokyo we were greeted by an endless sea of glass giants. Towering over us as we approached, I was surprised that the insides of these Skyscrapers were transformed in beautiful pieces of art full of flower gardens, impeccable design, and plenty of space to breathe.

The Tokyo Story

After a visit to the D.T.Suzuki museum in Kanazawa I became obsessed with reducing my designs to their simplest forms. Though the inspiration for this design didn't come until after arriving in Tokyo.

Surrounded by millions of people and towering skyscrapers as far as the eye could see, I began to hunt for piece and quiet. Sometimes finding it within the belly of the beasts themselves. Immaculate flower gardens and cherry blossom installations. All contained perfectly within these towering blocks of architecture.
